Homs Antiquities returned to Work in Homs Museum Building. The Director of Homs Antiquities said in his monthly report that the Antiquities team works in several sectors:
Documentation the damaged to the monuments, he noted that most the damages does not constitute serious damage.
The Homs antiquities continued to monitor the archaeological Tells in Homs countryside (that can be access), and according to rangers, most of these sites are in good situation.
Urgent rehabilitation and necessary first aid were done to the museum, the Antiquities offices, Zahrawi Palace, Dar Mufed al Ameen, waiting to provide the necessary funds for the required restoration works.
The Directorate continue rearrangement the documents and files and completion of the damaged files.
In the field of restoration Homs antiquities preparing restoration projects in each of: Folk traditions Museum (Palace Zahrawi), Dar Mufed al Ameen, Directorate and the museum building.
In coordination with both the Homs Waqf Directorate and Homs City Council, necessary studies were set up for the restoration of Khalid Ibn al-Walid Mosque and documentation the damage in all the ancient religious buildings, in order to prepare the necessary restoration projects.
